INSTRUMENTATION specialists, Process Instruments, has expanded its UK business development team with the appointment of industry expert Alan Burns.
The 44 year old from Salford, Greater Manchester joins the company from Rossendale based Aquaclean which specialises in water and air conditioning.
As part of Process Instruments’ business development team, he will be responsible for marketing the innovative instrumentation products and developing new market opportunities.
Alan has worked in the industry for more than 20 years. He was also part of a crucial team that helped clear an outbreak of Legionnaires disease in Lostock, by helping to update the British Aerospace cooling water systems.

Process Instruments, which operates across the UK and Europe, is based in Burnley and is dedicated to providing solutions to problems in the water, waste, chemical and paper industries. Clients include Georgia Pacific, St Regis, Rhodia, Bristol Water, Northumbrian Water, Urenco, and Dow Chemicals.
