Process Instruments clinch prestigious innovation award

LEADING water instrumentation company, Process Instruments, clinched a prestigious innovation award at the North West Society of Chartered Accountants annual accountancy and business awards.

Process Instruments walked away from the glittering awards ceremony with the O2 award for Innovation through Technology, which celebrates the spirit of innovation in the region and the vital role it plays in driving business forward.

Over 300 guests attended the awards event at Ribby Hall which was hosted by Granada TV news presenter, Lucy Meacock.

Process Instruments, which produces instrumentation to keep water clean and safe to use, won the award for its continuous innovative use of technology which has resulted in the world’s first range of auto calibrating water instrumentation.

Judges praised the company’s commitment to research and development and for establishing a strong culture of innovation in the workplace.

Mike Riding, managing director of Process Instruments said: “The team at Process Instruments is thrilled to have won such a prestigious accolade. We work hard to push the boundaries in our field through research and development and spend an enormous amount of time and effort in improving our instrumentation through the use of innovative technology. This award celebrates our achievements and we are looking forward to future projects.”

Process Instruments operates across the globe and is based in Burnley, Lancashire. It is dedicated to providing solutions to problems in the water, waste, chemical and paper industries and recently won a contract with Technostar in Eygpt to supply over 100 chlorine and pH analysers.  Other clients include Georgia Pacific, St Regis, Rhodia, Bristol Water, Northumbrian Water, Urenco, and Dow Chemicals.
